Re: Spring is here?

Well, I haven't noticed any reticulatas except in pots at the grocery
store, so I bought a few pots to set beside the front door last
month. They've faded now, but were pretty while they lasted. They
don't seem to last in the ground. And I can feel buds in my Pacific
Coast iris, though none have grown up enough to see yet.

But yes, it is certainly spring on the Pacific coast -blooming fruit
trees, camellias, rhododendrons, magnolias, daffodils, tulips (just
the early ones), violets, and on and on. And the overwintering
hummingbirds are nesting.
