Awards are the domain of AIS, but I was thinking that it might be worthwhile for SIGNA to develop a position on the subject and, if we think something needs to be changed, make recommendations to AIS. I believe SIGNA already decided a few years back to no longer allow pseudacorus seed in the exchange except from named cultivars? I only have a slight idea what other people's opinions are on this topic, but I think we ought to be able to have a polite discussion about it :) Some of these laws are hard to interpret, but by my count about a quarter of U.S. gardeners can't legally grow pseudacorus.
