I have had them infest Siberians, too, with not such large rhizomes. The worst thing I ever grew for borers was I. domestica (Belamcanda).

Also, in one especially bad season, one got into a Daylily. However, I believe it is extremely rare fore them to attack Daylilies. Mark A.
