I've taken a closer look at my purported wattii. It is only this
year's new canes that have leafy bracts all up the cane. The older
canes don't - they just have marks where the bracts were. So I guess
that is not diagnostic after all, and I will have to hope for flowers
next year to settle the i.d.

The Probst seed I grew was from SIGNA.
