Thank you for the information. That is twice now I have found major errors
with Floridata, and I may stop using it. I have Aristea plants in two
places, and I think I will try gently lifting the most smothered ones and
putting them in 16â pots where they will get a lot more sun and will not have to
compete with Camellias.
Compounding cultural issues here is our soil. Gardening here is like
gardening in a kiddie sand box. Should I plant them in pots filled with
sand, or maybe plant them in a good potting mix instead? I love this
plant, and want it to be happy. What is the real cold hardiness of Aristea
ecklonii? There is conficting information on that. Mark
