Iris decora plantlets

This year, one of my Iris decora from Chadwell's seed collection CC7733
from Nepal produced three bloom stalks. These had stem leaves but the
plant had no basal leaf fan. The stalks have died back to one or two
segments. Each now has plantlets forming at the base of a stem leaf. I'm
attaching a photo.

Plantlets are normal in the spathes of walking iris (genus Neomarica),
but as far as I know are not typical in species of true iris. I'm
wondering if I should remove them or cut the stem on either side and
plant them with the stem. Any thoughts?
