It's certainly possible that you might not have received the iris you
specifically
ordered. I've had Portrait of Larrie for years, and it is still a
favorite. It is a very
light blue, and I suppose with the certain soil types or soil additives, it
might appear
to be almost white. The form and branching would tell you whether it
really is
Portrait of Larrie. It has very distint and well spaced branching (gives
good show bench branching), the flowers are not ruffled, and it has been a
hardy grower for me.
