Wow Steve!! What a wonderful day. Our closest show (other than ours) is
118 miles away and we always go to that one too. I envy you your proximity to
so many iris <G>.
We did have a dedication yesterday of a small iris garden on the Lubbock
Christian University campus. The garden is in honor of Virginia Hodges (now
Davis) an iris judge many of you may know as she attended every convention for
many years.
Following the dedication we were invited to the garden of Bill and Eupha
Skillman to go through their seedling patch. Bill has some very interesting
things in his seedling patch. Well worth lining out and taking a look at again
next year. Not quite Steve's day but not too bad considering I also got to
make about 8 crosses in my own beds <G>.
