CULT: rust spots

I found this message on Hem-Gathering. It is from a fellow in Zone 7
Oklahoma. Any ideas on what to do about this?
<< I have some Candy lilies with rusty looking spots on them. There is
also some iris in the same bed affected. Some are worse than others.
Anyone know what it is and how to treat it? Thanks. >>
