OT: Using Subject Tags

(Scott, Just in case you missed it, John had already apologized for this
note accidently going to the list.)
Secondly, IMNSHO, I beleive it is necessary. I have sent my begging,
pleadeding
and attempts to explain why it is so important to try to get everyone to
try use the
subject line tags, to no avail.
Before the misposted note below, less than 10% of the postings had a
subject tag. Now, it magically seems that most have them!
Since everyone gets this information in the welcome to the list message,
it seems that it still bears frequent repeating on the list (at the very
least).
I really don't think people on this list realize how inconsiderate they
are
being when they don't use these tags, most especially because this list
is pretty
high-volume with a low STN ratio. And since they are such nice folks
about everything else, I can't imagine what else would work.
Perhaps, a once in a great while more severe tone wouldn't do as much
harm as you
think and perhaps a bit of good; insofar as the alternative is far more
drastic...
