Re: Lables
We've been experimenting with clear laser printer labels applied to
white plasticized paper label stakes. We don't use the styrene plastic
plant labels, because they become brittle and break in only a year or
so. The black laser printer toner has been on some 'test' plant labels
in full sun, rain, snow, and freezing weather for many years, and
they're virtually as legible now as they were when first made.
We also map the locations of the plants. Our problem has been to find a
cost effective and time effective means of using hundreds of these
labels without the wind working them out of the ground and blowing them
away.
