I finally have a tentative ID on 'Mary Roger's blue BB from Chattanooga'
thanks to Argyle Acres website:
FANTASTIC BLUE, IB, blue, different, with veins, 23", E.
This one seems very distinctive to me - anybody know of others that this
might be confused with?
This is one tough, reliable, good growing, nice clump-forming bloomer
here. Never quite that tall, but most irises are at least a little
stunted here, either from freezes before bloom or heat and drought
during bloom.
