Hi Judy, The foliage 'erupts' from the rhizome and resembles a pineapple top. Hence, pineappleing. the leaves are curled inward, 'rolled' and totally untypical of iris leaves. The foliage will be stunted. Vicki Your use of Yahoo! Groups is subject to http://docs.yahoo.com/info/terms/
