I think I have the plant you posted as reichenbachhii.  I also have
a similar yellow that reblooms.  We have a lady in our iris affiliate
who shared this and has had it for many years.  She is in her
90's.  We just call it the historic yellow iris that is easy to grow
and share.  I have never seen a photo of balkana but is it also
yellow?

Iris are plentiful and beautiful but I am seeing some strange growing
patterns on some and don't know exactly why this is occurring.
