What a great tip! I reposted under a different subject line in case
other hybridizers frustrated by rain missed this one. I don't remember
seeing this idea before. Of course, if it doesn't quit raining long
enough to take the buckets off and make the crosses, I guess you'd have
to set up a tent. Maybe a giant umbrella with something to make it
stand on its own would work....
Maybe 4 big bicycle wheels attached to a frame made of PVC pipe, covered
with a big tarp, open in front and back, covered on the sides, light
enough to drag down a row. I'd enjoy something like that to keep the
sun off while weeding.... a marketing opportunity for some entrepreneur
