Hello All,
I just wanted to yell out with great pleasure that we have finally had lots of lovely rain today. Yesterday we had gale force winds but not one of the new tb plantings heaved,,,thank heavens, as some of the Tempo Two babies where whoppingly huge rhizomes.
I have just tipped out 35 mls of lovely God Sent grass growing rain. I am sure all the plants in my garden are singing, from the new plantings of TB, Dwarves, just dug Ji;s, new Sibs and the dutch iris are already 5 inches up. I wonder what all the other hidden treasures are doing.....I know some are sprouting roots as I dug them up by error when I was slogging away lifting 4 year old JIs for Colleen Modra.
Who needs to go to the gym when we have our gardens, boy am I sleeping well at nights with all my digging efforts.....No rebloom here, but lots are making many, many increases. I am hoping for a very colourful Spring this year.....
Cheers for now....from Wendy Sargeant in muddy , wet gumboots...Smiling....in Zone ?Not really sure at present as it has been so changeable lately, Australia..
