Re: SPEC:I.lazica, I. japonica

Hi,
Right now the I. lazica, I. Japonica, and I. unguiculris are blooming
and a new acquisition, BEAUTY CREST a 2000 intro from John Weiler. BC is a
species cross in soft lavender blue looking very much like I. Jap. but much
taller and erect. It has been blooming about 2 weeks with plenty more blooms
to go. Perhaps I too should try some wild cross. Any ideas out there?
Lots of buds coming quickly on many beaded iris right now, only SDB-
RHINESTNE COWBOY is blooming.
Among the beardless, PCNs CHIEF SEQUOIA AND BAT BOY are blooming.
