Hi Colleen !
Normally, we have at least two or three weeks in the summer of weather of at
least 90 degrees............it is not usually to have temperatures over 100
degrees for a few days during the summer. Our typical temperature during July
and August would be in the 80's and low 90's I think. In Zone 3, I believe the
average minimum temperatures in the winter are between -30 and -40 degrees
below zero.
This last December (if I recall correctly) we had two or three weeks of -30 to
-40
degree temperature.
When is the critical time for TB irises to develop their bloom ?
Thanks.
Sandra
Zone 3
Manitoba, Canada
P.S. It was 80 degrees here yesterday, however, just last week we were still
having lows of about 15 degrees.
