We received our judges' ballot this morning from the AIS. I was
starting to worry; this was as late as I have ever received it.
I appreciate the hard work that goes into preparing the ballot each
year, and I thank everyone involved for it... hmmmm, I guess that
doesn't make it a thankless job after all. :-)
At last year's convention in Dallas, Perry Dyer listed off the errors he
had found in the ballot at the judges' training workshop. Only one from
my list would have made it to his. I suggest that anyone who can add to
this list should e-mail me privately and I'll prepare a more
comprehensive list in May for Iris-Talk.
Do NOT read the following list as a criticism of those who prepared the
ballot! Refer to paragraph 2.

Inclusion Error:
AB HM: Walker Ross received its HM last year. Therefore it shouldn't be
included here. It will be eligible for the AM next year. (You get only
one vote in this class, don't waste it).

Typos and Spelling Errors: Missing characters have been added and are
underlined, spelling is simply corrected.
John C. Wister Medal: Feature Attraction, Toasted Watermelon
TB AM: I'll Fly Away
SIB AM: Careless Sally
BB HM: Boot Hill
SDB HM: Heather Carpet
JI HM: Fairy Tale Princess, Dirigo Snowflake
There are other possible typos, but I don't have the appropriate check
lists to verify the HMs.
