Re: HYB: Seed germination in the ground


Linda,

Did Mr. Parkhill dry the seeds first and/or chill and soak them 
before planting them in the ground?  As I recall, you do both.  With 
my limited experience of this year, I'm considering planting some 
straight out of the pods around the pod parent, drying the rest, and 
planting them straight into protected ground in November, and letting 
Ma Nature do her thing.  Though I expect germination to continue 
throughout the season.  And next year.  For now, I'm focusing on this 
year's crosses.
