RE:CULT:Freeze Damage

Donald,
Our bloom at this point does not appear to be damaged. We are seeing much
new growth on all iris, maybe the best ever. Out of the 1300 iris that we
grow we have BAD freeze damage on aboout 9. Moderate on another 9. Slight
on 2 dozen. We replanted @400 of the 1300 and of the 42 showing damage
about 30 of them are in the new beds, and 6 more are AB's leaving 6 more
scattered elsewhere.

One other thing. Our first seedling sprouted TODAY!! That is about 1
month late. Of course everything else is late but not this late. Cross
your fingers for us and hope that the rest of the seeds will get the
idea<G>. I recently put the seedlings that germinated in the fridge
outside, close to the ungerminated ones, hoping to show the ungerminated
ones what they were missing. Maybe that worked.
