Betty from lookin' at stuff here (125 miles South and usually 4 degrees above
Memphis in temp) I am two/three weeks away from peak bloom. Jessie's Song has
just started lookin good and is not yet at peak. Bloomin today: Candy Apple
Classic, Lemon Custard, Jessie's Song, Pratorian Guard, Bye Bye Blackbird,
Rock Star, Apricot Drops, Panama Hattie, Cabot Cove. Temperature is swiftly
elivating. Many are showing color. I expect Memphis to be a little before
their peak but should have plenty, plenty blooms. What does all this mean?
Nothing! Everybody has an opinion.
Still undecided about making the trip myself. Do I want to miss my peak
bloom? Do I want to miss dabbin that much pollen? Will I miss one here I've
yet to see bloom? Will I have to hitch hike to get there? Decisions,
decisions!
More opinion: All should attend!
