Donald, I will keep results posted. Marking new sprouts with tooth picks as
they emerge. will try to post reference photo when I know something. Gonna
try removing some of the tall seedlings and keep watering pot they were in
too. All are too precious to be kilt (Southern) on purpose. When they bloom,
that's another story.
Wives woulda left all of us by now if they were gonna.
Get gallon heavy duty freezer bags. Dump dirt and seeds from pots in bag. Add
enough water to keep em wet. Put your marker in bag or write on bag. Mash bag
flat so it stacks easy. Wives like neat. Wrap several bags together in
aluminum foil to keep dark. Place in frig. Check bags each time wife rages.
Frig should hold 30 or so bags with no problem. Remove when you see some
green and plant or when wife threatens diviorce and packs her stuff (which
ever comes first). Don't worry too much if she packs yours. That just means
she's real mad. Haven't tried this with dirt yet but the paper towel stuff
and quart bags work pretty good (80% germination last year) without diviorce.
Too many seeds this year. Pots were cheaper than another frig or wife.
