To adapt President Clinton's utterance, I feel your rain. Had a
huge cloud overhead with thunder and wind then....nothing. I came *this
close* to doing a rain dance and pleading with it. To make things worse,
our well pump is broken and the water company has just announced an increase
in rates. Bathwater will become more meaningful soon. A few iris have
stretched out nicely and are normal height, including LACY SNOWFLAKE, SEA
WORLD, CHANGE OF PACE, and
the light blue unknown named suspiciously CLEAR BLUE...which seems a
description rather than an actual name. Things seem to be suffering a bit
color-wise too, paler in general. DOUCE FRANCE, which normally has very
vivid orange-red beards were paler orange and the color not extending as far
out as last year. Still beautiful and a wonder to behold...any bloom is
happy bloom.
