And it would be my argument for introducing the Arilmed you posted to
Iris-Photos. To quote you: "One of the most prolific and floriferous

In all the responses you were given, I don't recall this statement being
addressed. For me, it was the point altogether. And why I felt you posted
the clump shot photo instead of the usual single flower photo. For good
reason when you look at the clump shot! The flower itself is pretty, but to
have a plant produce that show in a garden setting would make up for a lot
of imperfections in the flower. Looks like a great garden plant. For all
my pollen daubing and my appreciation for exquisite blooms and perfection in
those blooms, I am still primarily a gardener who wants some impact from the
garden aspect. I assume you see a lot of iris plants growing and blooming.
To make the remark you attributed to the arilmed speaks volumes. If the
primary characteristic is that clump show, then a single stalk here and
there - no matter how perfect - is not going to do the yeoman's work in the
garden that plant will give a gardener.
