What are you referring to when you write "She's still alive and perky"? -
the leaves on the fan(s) that bloomed? These leaves will die and not be
replaced. Unless there is increase from the mother rhizome, it will go into
deep dormancy and eventually rot or dry up and blow away. The equation is
simple: Bloomout without increase=Death.

Unfortunate, but that has been my experience.
