Judy,
GILDED CREAM I can understand - a cream iris with highlights or edging
resembling gold paint or enamel, but what is to be made of GUILDED CREAM -
something to do with a medieval dairy producers' trade association?
Actually, the second spelling appears to be just a typo that may have crept
into whatever printed source you have referred to. The 1999 AIS Checklist
lists, correctly I am sure, an iris by the name of GILDED CREAM registered
by Betty Wilkerson.
