LUMINOSITY is not strong here. After near death in the ground for a couple of years, I moved the surviving scraps to a pot, where it seems to have recovered somewhat. I intended to bring it in for these last two freeze nights to see if I could nurse it along to get bloom from it. Way too climate sensitive for my growing conditions, but I'd still give it a try as a parent if it would cooperate..
None of Byers' TB & RE intros have done very well here except TEA LEAVES, which is fairly strong here, and BUCKWHEAT, which blooms if the rollercoaster isn't too bad. Possibly LAS VEGAS (it did well for at least a year)
I've tried (and lost or near death) WINTERLAND, WINESAP, ST PETERSBURG, SECOND WIND (lived pretty well, but always frozen out, so I got rid of it), not sure if SAXON died or is still out there, PINKNESS, MISTY TWILIGHT, ISTANBUL, LICHEN, JUICY FRUIT, ICELAND (almost lived), one of the HIGHNESS irises, EGGNOG, CANTINA, BLATANT, and BILLIONAIRE.
Only got to 31 this morning, so damage should be minor.<Have you tried Luminosity?? Yellow from Byers.? It appears to be an early cycle rebloomer here.? I've only had it since 2005 so I could be judging it too quickly.?>
