Well, I couldn't stand it. I went out and checked myself. I had the
  cross number wrong.

The correct cross number wasn't on my master list of "successful"
  pods
so the tag was wrong. The map however soon sorted me out.

The correct cross was 05-083 Tyson sdlg 97-008-14 X Zunk-Noid that was
supposed to be Season Ticket. The Zunk was pink as I recall, but at the
very least did not bloom the terminal 4/4 polytepal that Season Ticket is
known for. the Tyson seedling is a muted burgundy BC. I quite like the
muted color of the Tyson seedling- 2nd favorite among the 7 Tyson's I
  grow.

But I guess it's allowed for that cross to throw a yellow bud and a bit
  of cocoa in the standards.

I guess I'll have to remember to check if there is anything growing in
the spot where Season Ticket is supposed to live. I may have lifted it
to my Zunk row when I decided it wasn't Season Ticket.

oh well, maybe it will open tommorow.

    Hey gang.

I'm having a hard time this season with the waiting for bloom to begin.
So far only Wild Ruby has bloomed (one of only three SDB's in my
    collection).

I've already peeled one bud open just to see some color, that one was a
seedling 05-150-03 that is apparently just a blue. Oh well, that's what
I expected from a cross involving Scorpio.

One other seedling is showing color, from a cross of Chartreuse Ruffles X
Indigo Princess. With IP as a parent I was expecting blue from this
cross as well, but I made the cross because both CR and IP are related to
    flatties.

The seedling is apparently not reading the same rule book as I am- the
color showing in the bud is goldenrod yellow. I peeked inside at the
standard color... brown. The pedigrees say blues and the bud is yellow?
According to the Checklist, Louise Watts, CR's pollen parent, is lavender
with a brown rim. But someone tell me how a pedigree that's three
quarters blue lets any yellow out?

Other nearby pedigrees are Tyson sdlg 93-025-03 (a pale blue BC) X
Scorpio (dark blue SA), Dresden Dancer X Indigo Princess.

I do wish they would just bloom already!
