Virginia--I'd say, go for it. I've had very good success with spring
planting of Sibs in this climate. In fact, I'm beginning to think it works
better here than fall planting. The only thing is----you may sacrifice some
bloom--depending on how much you have to disturb the clump. Maybe even all
the bloom for this season.
Glad you finally got some sun. We did too yesterday. Wednesday it snowed,
yesterday it was 60 degrees and the mosquitos (!) drove me out of the iris
garden in the evening!!
