I have sent my list to you Gunnar...today! I would believe that Japanese
irises should do fine in Sweden if your soil is acid as you say. They like
cold weather and they like lots of water in spring. I know Siberians do
wonderfully in Sweden because I have had repeat sales to Sweden, which would
indicate they are doing fine....of course, there could be other people like
me who keep ordering hybrid Pacific Coast Native iris cultivars when only
one, the variety BIG MONEY, has every survived more than one year! Ho! Ho!
Ho! Clarence Mahan in Virginia
