Help identifying Iris

Hello all,

may be Iris, is because they have rhizomes.
> None of the plants flowered last year -- I gleaned from
>various books and newsgroups that the plants might need to be separated
(assuming that they are Iris because of the rhizome . . .) This year, the
separated plants are growing like mad, but there are still no signs of
flowers. Does anyone have an idea if these are Iris and when (or if) I can
expect blooms? Is there a way to promote blooms --or coerce them -- as I
have posted before, I'm not patient yet. Thanks!
