Louisiana Iris in Florida

Tom Dillard:

I saw you post on Louisiana Iris. I would be interested in knowing your
interest in L. I. and what you grow. The Louisiana Iris species I. hexagona
grows down here in southwest Florida abundantly. It blooms with regular
Louisiana Iris rather in June as the literature says.

I have Louisiana Iris in bloom since December. Some are blooming again now.
TIME KEEPER is absolutely beautiful on two bloom scapes. HEATHER STREAM
open its first flower this morning. LAKE WINONA started Thursday although it
had a bloomstalk in January too.

HURRICANE PARTY, BROOKVALE NOCTURNE, ILA NUNN, FULL ECLIPSE, BOB WARD have
finished blooming and now laden with seed pods of those I used. I planted my
first seeds last week from JOHN'S LUCIFER that bloomed in middle of December.
