If 'durability' is equivalent to how disease resistant the iris is, it isn't
surprising that iris that aren't the 'best' plants could get high points. If
it were a zinger of a flower in all ways (including stalk, buds, etc etc),
sounds like it could get 85 points just for that and have rot in half the
country, especially if most of the growers were out scraping off goop and
doctoring with chlorox or comet at every hint of disease. (in case you can't
guess, spring rot has started - grrrr). Growmpf!
