John, re graphics: The best way might be for those interested in receiving
graphics to let one person (you?) know by private email that they're interested
in being on the graphics distribution list, and whether things should be sent
to them MIME or uuencoded. New members can be alerted to the existence of this
list and who to get in touch with to get on it, and the list can be kept as one
of the files available from Tom or from the 'keeper'.
