You tell 'em.  I can get snarled at at home, I don't need to burn up
valuable internet time to do it.
We're all here because we have an interest in irises, but most of us have
other gardening interests as well and it's natural to want to share them
with people (as a group) whose opinions we respect and who we also think
will be interested.  There's nothing wrong with talking about a few
companion plants ( I know many of you agree with Henry Mitchell that
nothing should be planted with iris, but you gotta plant around them, and
sometimes behind and in front of them).
