Christa,
Jewel Baby usually has more than 3 parts on it's initial bloom here.
Has been doing it for me for years and hear the same from other growers
in California. Usually it's later flowers and rebloom will be normal
and have only 3 parts. Here it grows like a weed and blooms 3 times a
year.
