Kathy Guest (Irisborer) copied a very informative message from Dr. James
Waddick to the List on April 9 under the subject: SOS: Irids in Danger. If
you missed it at the time, it would be worth looking it up in the Archives.
In that posting I. tenuis (a local endemic in Oregon) and I. lacustris from
the Great Lakes region were mentioned as endangered North American iris
species.
