Robert asked about details of the endangered species of irises in the
red book. I have traced down a copy of the book, I think the only one
in Ottawa at the time. If I am very nice to the keeper, she is going to
let me see it and copy the appropriate pages tomorrow! I understand
that the whole book will be on the internet soon - Nature Conservancy
page? As information filters in, I will provide an up-date.
As to appropriate remedial action, I think that this is an ideal problem
for international cooperation but AIS, like SIGNA, may be incapable of
deal with the issue.
