I agree Ian. Our recent efforts in painting the house involved only
close family members, and despite many pleas, I later found several
irises damaged. Two of my little PCN seelings had been stood. Some
irises well away from the house were stood on when the 'head painter'
loaded his ladders onto his van. After many anxious moments watching
people step around my beloved Sprekelias I stood square in the middle of
them myself. Everything is recovering now, but high stress levels cause
increased blood pressure, and my garden needs me to stay healthy.
BTW does anyone else have I. Japonica with 'brunswick green' coloured
speckling on the leaves. I hope the paint spots grow out soon.
