Spring Meeting Southern Illinois Iris Society


Sorry ...I should have posted this earlier...Our spring meeting is today
                  The spring SIIS meeting will be held April 19th in the
Community Resource Center in Centralia, Illinois. The meeting room is at
the basement level of the Old National Bank Building on Broadway in the
downtown area.  Watch out for the small step down into the room.

                     There will be a noon potluck.  Soda will be furnished.
 Bring your own table service.  A business meeting will be held at 1PM.  A
program of iris slides and cultural information will be presented by our
Region 9 Vice President, Orville
Dickhaut following the meeting.  A few perennials such as beardless irises,
SDBs hostas, daylilies, lilacs, poppies, miscellaneous bulbs, bamboo, &
other perennials will be available for sale or exchange.  Attendance prizes
will be given to the lucky member whose name is drawn.  Society dues are $1.00


This is the oldest Iris Society in Region 9.  

If you are in the area, drop by.  Don't worry about bringing a covered
dish...there is always plenty of food.  Extra table service will be available 
and the food is always mighty tasty.  Join us and hear all about our
