Both Lady friend and Sultans Palace put up 3 bloom stalks on the 1 rz
last season. I don't believe this is uncommon. If the rz has no increase
and is blooming, it is a good idea to cut the stalk right down at the rz
as soon as it has bloomed, to induce new growths.
Jan Clark, in Australia, where Blyths 'Witching' is puting up a most
unexpected autumn bloom stalk.
