CULT: Bloom Report!

Yeeehhaaaa!! My first bearded iris bloom *ever* is underway! Overnight a
bloomstalk for KENTUCKY BLUEGRASS popped up. KENTUCKY BLUEGRASS was also
my most prolific increaser over winter with a total of about 14 fans off of
just one rhizome which I planted in July/August.

KENTUCKY BLUEGRASS is supposed to be a near green self, an SDB I think. And
it looks highly ruffled. This has absolutely made my day!

OT-Bloom: tulips are fading....daffodils, muscari, and fritilaria meleagris
are still going strong...catmint and columbine just starting...digitalis
(foxglove) and gaillardia sending up bloom stalks...monarda (bee balm) is
growing like a weed but no bloom stalks yet.
