I'm not an arilbred expert by any means, but I do grow some successfully,
and my garden is Zone 5. However, you're going to have a problem to
overcome as far as growing the ABs with more aril content: Wisconsin isn't
noted for being dry in the summer. Even if you have an area you consider
dry, you're still likely to get more rain and have more humidity (lots more
humidity) than the arils are comfortable with. Why not start with some of
the quarter-breds, hopefully some from gardens in your area rather than
gardens in more dry areas? Then if they do well for you, you can start
trying to add those with more aril content.
