<I have ordered many irises over the last few weeks. My question is
this: I was considering using double shredded hard wood mulch from
November to the 3 rd week in May. At the end of May, remove the mulch
until the following November. what do you think?  NY zone 7.>

My growing conditions are so different I don't know what this would do.
