right now I am putting in Milky spore with my fertilizer and lime as I
replant.  The devastation from the borer is unbeliveable and the iris that
still sends off increases in its determination to survive is inspiring.

    We have not been using Milky Spore because the following was explained
to us:
1. It takes 5 to 7 years for it to become effective.
2. All the neighbors in the subdivision must use it or it does not work.
3. Only works against Japanese Beetles.

    Is this information correct?
