Hi Ellen,
Could the Irene iris be IRIS IRENE or GOODNIGHT IRENE...the latter is a
dark lavenderish purple. May even have a pic of it growing in my garden if
you want to see it. IRIS IRENE is "polar bear" flushed peach, and two
others I found in the R&I's I have: IRENE NELSON (violet standards, white
falls rimmed violet) and IRENE PAYNE()dark blue standards, white falls
rimmed dark blue). Have you ever tried to identify it?
