Re: New Iris Beds

I have no experience with using Preen in the iris beds, though some have been
commenting about it recently.  I hope somebody will speak up about this again.
Otherwise, if you can get to the archives you'll find quite a bit of reporting
in very recent weeks about use of Preen.  As for mulch, I always prefer clean
beds and look on mulch as a certain invitation to rot, since it's liable to
get on the rhizomes and make then stay wet.
