Wonderful idea, Laurie, altho I cannot conceive how an explanation is needed
--It is so sensible, and agrees with all the directions with "etchings" of
irises that come with iris orders of what and how to do! How can there be any
other explanation than what you put so clearly? Howeverr, I think you left
out one item: The VERY important "Mother Rhizome" being the part that holds
all the other pieces together and from which usually has the first bloom
stalk -- and has done its "thing" and blooms no more, You reword this - you do it
better! At least your system is the way I have always understood parts of the
iris.! Rosalie nr Baltimore, a scared z0ne 7 of hurricane weather - it
didn't come, but there are more threats in the offing! ryfigge@aol.com
