RE: Computer-AIS Membership Secretary

Tom Gormley, AIS Membership Secretary, received this e-mail today (from a 
friend) and it is yet another warning to all NOT to open attachments unless you 
are SURE the e-mail came from the person you know.  Tom always signs his own 
name to the bottom of the e-mail and always makes a specific reference if he is 
attaching a file.  So continue to BEWARE and pay for your virus software!

This past week I've gotten a couple of strange messages, supposedly from the 
AIS Membership Secretary, and both supposedly with attachments, which I did 
not open.

8/20/04, 1:49 a.m. from aismemsec@earthlink "Is that your password?"

8/21/04, 5:13 a.m. from Aismemsec "RE: Incoming Msg".

Any idea what's going on?

Nasty worm, virus or whatever generated by stupid people who have nothing 
better to do..............I even got one from aol.com and Keith Keppel!  They 
steal people's mailbox addresses and self generate.  

Good guy-did not open!!!  Also make sure you have an up-to-date, immediate 
upgrade virus software paid for!!!
